Board Of Directors

    The Board of Directors are Individuals that are  elected by the corporation's members to oversee the management of the corporation. The members of a Board of Directors  meet several times each year.

Tom Devaney

   Tom started as a member of MVAC as an Emergency Medical Technician in 2000.  He became an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician - Critical Care in January 2001.  Tom served the department as Safety Officer in 2002, as Treasurer in 2005, Trustee in 2006, and has been serving the department continuously as President from January 2007 to January 2010.  Tom also has been serving in the East Williston Fire Department as an active member since March 1995, where he obtained his EMT license in December 1995, and has been annually appointed the EMS Coordinator since 1999.  In November 2007, Tom was asked to serve by the Chairman as the EMS Liaison for the 8th Battalion of the Nassau County Fire Commission.  When not volunteering in EMS, Tom is actively pursuing a doctorate in medicine.

Treasurer:

Rennie Gonzalez

   Rennie Gonzalez joined MVAC is 2006, and received his EMT license shortly thereafter.  Rennie's passion has always been to help others, all the while having an interest in construction.  Rennie received a BS in Architectural Construction from SUNY at Farmingdale in 1991.  Immediately following he landed a position as a draftsman for a commercial architectural firm. Rennie worked there for approximately nine years.  In 2000, Rennie joined his brother in a residential construction business.  They now have two locations of business and Rennie run's the sales and marketing department.  Rennie is married to Nicole in 2004 and had a son, Mathew, in 2006.  Rennie and his family reside in Mineola, while his family remains throughout Long Island.

Linda Walkowiak

    Linda started with MVAC in October of 2007as a brand new EMT-B. Linda is also an instructor for the Red Cross as well as doing security there 4 times a week. She also volunteers her time as a member of CERT and is a team unit leader of the Hicksville team. In 2010 she was appointed Sergeant at Arms.
